Senior Land Planner

Come join our growing communitiy. We have an opening for a Senior Planner in the Frisco Area in the land development industry. This position does require experience using AutoCAD or Civil 3D.

Must have a Planning Degree and at least 8 years of Planning experience for projects such as commercial and/or residential land development. We are seeking someone who is motivated and wants to grow with our company.

Job Description and Profile

• Review and create submittals for the land development process by researching codes or land development codes and creating plans and other submittal items for various permits, including site plans, plat maps, and other documents related to submittals as needed.

• Reviews response letters and edit submittal items in accordance with them.

• Assists other team members in the company and on the project, including other consultants, as needed.

• Prepares and speaks on behalf of projects at hearings as needed.

• Communicates with the client, team members, outside consultants, and public officials over the phone or via email

• Self-motivated, hardworking, highly ethical, and dependable employee

• Possess excellent rapport with management and co-workers, positive can-do attitude, excellent customer service, marketing and people skills

Education, Qualifications, Experience

• Planning Degree, AICP preferred.

• AutoCAD or Civil 3D experience required

• Experience working with local municipalities including City of Frisco a plus
