Estimator (Concrete)

Specializing in both residential and commercial foundation construction, this company serves the Maryland metropolitan area, including the greater DC/Baltimore region. Your new role As a Concrete Estimator, you will play a crucial role in accurately assessing project costs and ensuring competitive bids. Your responsibilities will include: Quantity Estimation: Calculating the amount of concrete, reinforcement, forms, and other materials required for a project. Cost Estimation: Determining the cost of materials, labor, equipment, and other project-related expenses. Bid Preparation: Developing detailed and competitive bids for construction projects. Collaboration: Working closely with architects, engineers, project managers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information. Documentation: Creating detailed records of estimates, including cost breakdowns and assumptions. What you'll need to succeed Proven experience as a Concrete Estimator Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail. Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings. Familiarity with estimating software and construction management tools. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders. Knowledge of industry trends, material costs, and construction methods.
