General Definition:
The Residential Service Electrician manages, inspects and executes electrical solutions within home properties.
Job Responsibility List:
1.Problem-solving and critical thinking skills to troubleshoot electrical issues and locate the source of a reported problem, identify repair options and execute the appropriate solution.
2.Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical issues such as faulty wiring, malfunctioning circuits and equipment failure.
3.Inspecting components, including wiring and electrical products, to ensure theyre safe and within the required code.
4.Repairing electrical wiring and components.
5.Installing electrical wiring to ensure electrical systems.
6.Upgrading existing electrical systems to enhance performance, reduce utility costs and ensure safety.
7.Ability to read blueprints to understand a structures electrical set up.
8.Attention to detail.
9.Excellent customer service and communication skills with the ability to answer questions and provide helpful and friendly service to clients without assistance.
10.Organized and accurate record keeping.

7.High School Diploma/GED.
