Project Manager contract – Utility Distribution construction experience

Duration: 12-month contract with potential extension/conversion to FTE

Location: Oakbrook Terrace, IL - Hybrid schedule (3 days in office, M/F remote – occasionally in field)

Hours: 8am-5pm core hours

Role Overview: Join the REACTS team as a Project Manager focused on Fiber and distribution construction projects. This metrics-driven role requires strong financial acumen and weekly reporting responsibilities within a 12-person PM team.
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage FIBER installation and distribution construction projects (overhead/underground)
• Prepare financial forecasts and weekly metrics reporting
• Support outage planning initiatives
• Self-directed project management with strong initiative-taking

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years project management experience
• Distribution construction experience (essential)
• Strong financial skills and comfort with regular reporting
• Microsoft Suite proficiency
• Local candidates only (no relocation)

Preferred:

• ComEd/Utility/Exelon experience
