What You'll Be Doing

• Operate excavators and other heavy equipment to extract and move materials efficiently

• Conduct pre-shift inspections and perform basic maintenance on equipment

• Follow safety protocols and report any hazards or incidents promptly

• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and maintain workflow

• Monitor material quality and ensure proper handling and stockpiling

What Are We Looking For

• Demonstrated ability to safely operate heavy equipment in a quarry or similar environment

• Strong awareness of safety standards and commitment to safe work practices

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting

• Basic mechanical aptitude for equipment troubleshooting and maintenance

• Willingness to work night shifts and adapt to changing schedules

Conditions of Employment

• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check.

Work Environment

• Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.

Physical Demands of the Job

• Ability to sit for extended periods while operating equipment

• Frequent walking, standing, climbing, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds

• Manual dexterity and visual acuity required to operate controls and inspect equipment

• Tolerance for working in dusty, noisy, and physically demanding environments

• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hard hats, gloves, safety glasses, and steel-toed boots
