We work on a variety of residential and commercial projects, and we're looking for a hardworking, bilingual (English/Spanish) General Construction Worker with waterproofing experience to join our team.
Job Description:
As a General Construction Worker specializing in waterproofing, you will be responsible for preparing, applying, and maintaining waterproofing systems on various surfaces. You'll also assist with other construction tasks related to painting and surface preparation. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on waterproofing experience, attention to detail, and a collaborative attitude.
Responsibilities:
Perform waterproofing tasks including membrane application, sealants, coatings, and flashing
Prep surfaces for waterproofing and painting (cleaning, grinding, caulking, masking, etc.)
Assist with installation of drainage systems and moisture barriers
Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
Set up and take down ladders, scaffolds, and safety barriers
Maintain a clean and organized job site
Follow safety procedures and OSHA standards
Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members in English and Spanish
Requirements:
1+ year of waterproofing or related construction experience preferred
Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred)
Must have reliable transportation within the Bay Area
Able to lift 50+ lbs and work on ladders, roofs, or elevated platforms
Familiarity with waterproofing tools, materials, and methods
Dependable, punctual, and able to work well in a team environment
Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
