Fabricator/Orthotic technician

Looking for a detail-oriented person to work part-time for an orthotic manufacturing company. Must possess exceptional hand-eye coordination and follow detailed technical instruction. Job requires cutting and heating materials to form the shells for orthotics as well as grinding orthotics using various shop machinery and glue guns. Computer experience helpful but not necessary. Ability to lift 35 lbs a must. There are many physical aspects to this position so applicant must be relatively fit. Hours can vary week to week and between 20 to 30 hours per week, depending on the season. Could expand into full-time position with extensive health and vacation benefits for the right person. There is also the ability for a flexible schedule, making this position attractive to both students and semi-retirees. This is a union position. Pay based on relevant experience but entry level pay is $20.17
