Drywall Taper

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Drywall Tapers for projects located in the Sacramento, CA area . This is a full time opportunity, and the pay rate is up to $35/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:

• Monitor and maintain drilling mud properties, weight, viscosity ph etc. to ensure optimal drilling conditions
• Operate, repair & maintain mud pumps, shale shakers, mud tanks, centrifuges, and other related mud system equipment
• Conduct regular sampling and testing of drilling fluids to assess and adjust mud composition as required
• Coordinate with drilling engineers and supervisors to optimize mud programs and fluid management
• Troubleshoot mud system issues and implement corrective measures promptly. maintain accurate records of mud volumes compositions and treatment chemicals used
• Train junior mud tappers or other rig personnel in mud system operations and safety practices
• Assist in rig site cleanup and mud system setup or breakdown during rig moves
• Read & interpret mud logs, and drilling reports

• Proven experience as a mud tapper or similar role in the oil and gas drilling industry
• Indepth knowledge of drilling fluids and mud system equipment
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and chemicals
• Must be able to use a spray gun
• Work in various weather conditions and confinedspaces
