Contract Product Development Project Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Product Development Project Coordinator to lead and support key initiatives related to the design, development, and commercialization of advanced instrumentation systems. This hands-on, on-site role plays a vital part in driving projects from concept through implementation and validation, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery across all phases.

As the coordinator for cross-functional product development projects, you will serve as a central liaison between engineering, project management, quality, documentation, and scientific teamsinternally and externally. Key Responsibilities

  • Project Execution & Coordination:
    Drive the successful completion of assigned projects by defining project scope, developing and maintaining project plans, coordinating resources, and managing deliverables across functional teams.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    Collaborate with engineering, design control, documentation teams, and scientific staff to keep projects on track and ensure clarity in responsibilities and timelines.

  • Resource & Timeline Management:
    Monitor project schedules and coordinate internal and external resources (vendors, consultants, etc.) to ensure deliverables are completed on time.

  • Product Development Support:
    Facilitate product development and design change processes. Assist in preparing product design documentation and proactively communicate deliverables across teams.

  • Documentation Oversight:
    Create, review, and update technical documentation, including Operating Procedures, Validation Protocols, Device History Files (DHF), and Document Change Orders (DCOs), to ensure consistency, standardization, and compliance.

  • Quality Assurance:
    Promote Quality First Time in all processes and documentation. Monitor project tasks to uphold quality and regulatory standards throughout the development lifecycle.

  • Process & System Management:
    Manage workflows using an Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) and ensure adherence to Quality System procedures and the Product Development Process (PDP).

  • Meeting Facilitation:
    Organize and lead project meetings, track action items, and maintain clear communication among stakeholders.

  • Continuous Improvement:
    Provide recommendations for process improvements and support leadership in refining project deliverables, timelines, and risk mitigation strategies.

  • Additional Duties:
    Take on other responsibilities as needed to support team and organizational goals.
Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Strong background in coordinating technical product development projects.

  • Solid understanding of regulated development processes, quality systems, and documentation control.

  • Experience managing timelines, deliverables, and cross-functional teams.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills.

  • Familiarity with EDMS platforms and change control workflows.
