Position Description:
Maintains and repairs facilities and equipment, e.g. electricity, HVAC, sanitary, or janitorial facilities as a single point of contact at a site.
Structures, decides upon plans and coordinates required activities and resources.
Completes protocol and facility inspections.
Performs monitoring and scheduling facility-related activities, and service/request calls.
Completes maintenance activities and incidents reports and documentation.
Cooperates with external service provider staff.
Maintains administrational contacts to local relevant authorities. Impacts : Thinking is within the frame of diverse procedures. Performs "trouble shooting", by applying background understanding of processes or incidents in order to analyze and resolve operational problems with given procedures, in a well-known environment. Thinking is about evaluating and selecting appropriate set of measures, and about applying the right set of tools and processes, issue handling may exceed day-to-day horizon quite regularly, and embraces planning and acting for up to few weeks ahead.

Key Responsibilities:
Vocationally trained positions that need both practical and theoretical understanding and some significant advanced vocational experience to perform broad range of varying tasks and issues, in related field of work.
Work performed is still procedure based, however issues and problems arising needs accountable addressing and solution by incumbent.
In Administration : Broad scope of tasks and accountabilities within one functional area needs to be managed by senior experienced incumbent.
Non-routine inquiries and issues occur regularly and need to be solved instantly, with a certain degree of authority and bindingness towards (internal and external) customers.
In Technical Areas : Incumbents deliver specialized support service towards (internal and external) customers - i.e. in maintenance, local on-site solutions, or testing support, etc.
Experience : Additional specialized qualification + 1 to 8 years exp. needed Knowledge : Has theoretical understanding and broader practical skills in the related field of work and needs to apply practical methods, concepts and techniques, work procedures and processes

HVAC systems
Electrical infrastructure
Plumbing systems
Other building infrastructure components

Role Overview
The position supports building engineers with a focus on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems.
Tasks may include HVAC, electrical work, and general assistance like carrying, lifting, or checking equipment.
Candidates can range from helpers to journeyman-level technicians.

Minimum Requirements
At least 1 year of experience (helper level and up).
No formal degree required, but trade school is a plus.
Drivers license preferred.

Top 5 Must-Have Skills
Reliability consistent attendance.
Basic trade knowledge especially in mechanical, electrical, or plumbing.
Mechanical aptitude.
Technical skills.
Teamwork and organization.

Nice-to-Haves
Forklift certification.
Experience in MEP trades.
Building engineer background (not necessarily licensed).
