Our client, a leading provider of innovative med-tech solutions, is seeking a Hardware Operator to join their team. As a Hardware Operator, you will be part of a dynamic manufacturing environment, supporting the production of vital components for the medical industry. Job Title: Hardware Operator
Location: San Jose, CA
Pay Range: $23 Hourly, Day Shift 5:30am-1:40pm
What's the Job?
- Installs Press-fit and other types of hardware into parts using hardware presses and other purpose-built tools and machinery.
- Accepts and follows priorities assigned by the Hardware Lead and Hardware Operator 2.
- Reads and interprets blueprints to ensure accurate installation of hardware.
- Ensures the proper handling and stacking of parts to produce a quality product.
- Helps maintain a clean and orderly hardware department area.
What's Needed?
- 1-5 years of experience in precision sheet metal, with at least 6 months focused on hardware installation.
- Ability to read and understand written documents and blueprints.
- Knowledge of hardware types, including thread pitches and PEM hardware.
- Basic arithmetic skills for measurements and calculations.
- Physical ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally.
