Main Purpose
Essential Functions
- Must be able to remove, install and repair insulation on piping, ductwork, & mechanical systems (tanks, heat exchangers, vessels).
- Experience with fabrication and installation of wool blankets for valves, flanges, and piping.
- Must have experience with sheet metal: measuring, cutting, removing, and installing with both bands and screws.
- Familiar with different types of insulation/applications: cal-sil, foam glass, perlite, etc.
- Must be familiar with blueprints, ISO, P&ID drawings, & insulation specifications.
- Can do insulation take-off using drawings and or BOM.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- The job would require traveling offshore via helicopter or boat.
- Offshore experience preferred.
- Must be willing to work as a rigger/fire-watch when needed.
- The employee must exhibit good housekeeping skills & provide quality workmanship.
- Must be safety oriented & participate in pre-job meetings.
- The employee must have strong communication skills.

- Lifting - employees must lift 25 pounds and occasionally 50-75 pounds.
Job Requirements
- Two years of experience.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen.
- Must be able to pass background checks to company policy.
- TWIC card
Desirable Experience/Training
Highschool diploma or GED.
Environmental Conditions
80 to 90% of the work activities are performed outdoors. Individuals will be required to work in changes of temperature, hot, cold, humid, wet, and dry conditions, dust, mud, etc.
