Insulation Operator Helper

Carpenter & Paterson, Inc. is currently hiring for a full-time Insulation Operator to work at our Waggaman, LA location. Insulation Operators are responsible for assisting the Insulation Shop Foreman in order to meet production deadlines.

We specialize in the manufacture and distribution of a complete line of pipe hangers and supports for commercial and industrial applications since 1913. With five locations in the U.S and growing., our supports have been specified and installed on major water treatment, pharmaceutical, process piping, petro-chemical, hospitals, and school buildings as well as many other industrial projects throughout the world.

Essential Duties:

Operate insulation equipment in accordance with the work orderAssist the department foreman in meeting production targetsMaintain quality standardsKeep work area clean and orderlyNotify managers concerning any non-conformities and the need for repairs to the facility or equipmentMaintain a healthy and safe working environment

Shifts Available:

6:00am-2:30pm (Day Shift)3:00pm - 1:30am (Night Shift)

Ideal Candidate:

Previous experience a plus

Candidates must be able to measure quickly and accurately.Have exceptional attention to detail.Have basic computer knowledge.Be able to stand and work in a warm environment for an 8-hour shift.Have good working knowledge of figures and numbers.Be able to work quickly and efficiently.Be able to lift and carry heavy objects (over 50 pounds).
