Job Summary: The Fiber Optic Construction Field Coordinator will oversee fiber installation and make-ready work across Client's distribution territory. This role involves close collaboration with contract crews and Client representatives, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency in field operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with contract crews and Client's staff to manage fiber optic and pole replacement projects.
  • Monitor underground installations and authorize appropriate invoicing methods.
  • Track construction progress and quality, reporting to Client Corporate.
  • Forecast workloads, assign crews, and manage material logistics.
  • Generate and maintain project tracking reports and spreadsheets.
  • Travel extensively (90%+), with regular overnight stays and periodic visits to HQ.

  • Field experience in fiber optics or utility distribution.
  • Familiarity with Power or similar utility environments.

Work Environment:

  • Primarily field-based with occasional corporate meetings.
  • Weekly hours may vary, averaging up to 40 hours.
  • Willingness to work extended hours if necessary

IDEAL PAY : $40-45/hr

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $65.00/hr.
