Sr. Site/Civil Project Manager Job Description

We are seeking a Sr. Site/Civil Project Manager to join our dynamic team in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This role is pivotal in leading and supporting design, permitting, and client management/development for various land development projects. You'll have the chance to collaborate with top industry leaders on a wide range of premier land development projects.

Responsibilities
  • Design and permit residential, institutional, commercial centers, warehouse distribution centers, and mixed-use projects for both public and private clients.
  • Collaborate with office leadership to develop growth plans and ensure efficient staff utilization.
  • Exhibit an entrepreneurial spirit and engage in business development by acquiring new clients and maintaining relationships with existing ones.
  • Lead site/civil efforts on diverse project sites, including designing and overseeing site layout, grading, drainage, infrastructure, erosion, and sediment control from concept to completion.
  • Lead stormwater management design, hydrologic/hydraulic analysis, and SWPPP preparation.
  • Demonstrate expertise in all aspects of land development engineering, including integrating geotechnical and environmental engineering.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
  • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering.
  • 5+ years of successful, local and related site/civil engineering experience with a concentration in land development on both small and large projects.
  • Professional Engineering license.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD or Civil 3D preferred.
  • Strong client development and client management abilities.
  • Experience in technical and proposal writing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical, multitasking, and judgment capabilities.
  • Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment.
  • Possess reliable transportation for client meetings and job site visits and a valid drivers license in good standing.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $140000.00/yr.
