Purpose\:

As a Senior Field Engineer at Worley, you will be instrumental in bridging engineering designs with real-world construction site conditions. This role involves planning, scheduling, and supervising field engineering activities, providing technical guidance, and ensuring that construction operations align with project goals and timelines. Responsibilities\:

• Project Planning and Supervision\: Plan, schedule, and oversee field engineering work in your assigned area, ensuring alignment with project objectives and construction programs.
• Technical Guidance\: Provide technical support and guidance to construction teams, interpreting engineering designs, blueprints, and specifications to ensure feasibility and compliance with project requirements.
• Quality Assurance\: Conduct thorough inspections and quality checks of completed construction tasks, verifying adherence to design specifications and industry best practices.
• Team Leadership\: Direct and lead multidisciplinary teams, fostering a collaborative environment and mentoring junior staff to support their professional development.
• Stakeholder Collaboration\: Collaborate closely with project managers, designers, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and smooth project execution.
• Risk Management\: Identify potential risks or issues that could impact project timelines or deliverables and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Continuous Improvement\: Support initiatives related to the enhancement of construction processes, procedures, and standards within Worley.
What you will bring

Technical/Industry Experience and Qualifications Requirements\:

• Experience\: Extensive experience in field engineering roles, including supervisory and project management responsibilities.
• Technical Proficiency\: Strong understanding of construction principles, methodologies, and best practices; proficiency in interpreting engineering designs and technical specifications.
• Leadership Skills\: Proven ability to lead and manage teams, with a focus on mentoring and developing team members.
• Communication\: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging with diverse stakeholders and presenting complex information clearly.
• Problem-Solving\: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and develop tactical plans for implementing organizational goals.
• Adaptability\: Ability to work in dynamic environments, managing multiple projects simultaneously and adapting to changing client needs and regulatory landscapes.
• Systems Knowledge\: Advanced understanding of systems, processes, and tools related to field engineering; ability to assist others and troubleshoot issues.

Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training\:

Required\:

• Bachelor's degree in a related engineering field.

Preferred\:

• Equivalent relevant experience.
