Our Nuclear Services Group is looking for Electrical Engineers onsite at Columbia Generating Station in Richland, WA. ResponsibilitiesA typical day is driven by collaboration and innovation, where you shape the future of projects by coordinating with diverse teams, solving complex technical challenges, managing budgets and schedules, and guiding your team to deliver high-quality, impactful results.
- Collaboration & Coordination : Understand roles played by other disciplines and coordinate with them. Participate in reviewing and checking designs, drawings, and data from others
- Design & Planning : Prepare design studies, project scopes, and engineering estimates. Prepare electrical equipment procurement and installation specifications
- Project Management : Manage budget, scope, schedule, and quality with minimal guidance. Direct and oversee technical work performed by others
- Problem Solving & Innovation : Devise new approaches to technical problems
- Fieldwork & Implementation : Travel for field installation, checkout, and start-up
- Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent in related field for the position and a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
- Experience supporting modifications of Nuclear Power Plants preferred
- Experience in electrical codes, standards and criteria for power systems
- Demonstrated proficiency in preparation of electrical calculations is desired
- Makes recommendations based on knowledge and experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite
- Excellent writing, presentation and communication skills
- Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams
- Must be able to perform plant walkdowns
- Must be able to get badged at a nuclear facility
Salary Range
The salary range for this full-time position is below. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
