Day Electrician

Overview

Responsible for preventative maintenance and repair of electrical equipment in the facility.

Responsibilities

This role is a technical support lead role. The successful interaction with Operations is a critical part of the Day Electrician position.

Qualifications

Required:

• Excellent safety and attendance record Strong communication skills Proficient with electrical instruments, hand/power tools

Training or technical degree in industrial electricity with extensive experience in: Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) Hydraulic & Pneumatic controls Power transformers and Power Distribution Equipment Protection Relays

Preferred:

• Strong electrical aptitude with troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Know and understand electrical principles and electronics Knowledge of diverse electrical equipment Knowledge of electrical testing and maintenance requirements
