Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the full lifecycle of small cell construction projects, from design to closeout.
- Coordinate closely with internal engineers and external vendors to meet project timelines and budgets.
- Conduct constructability reviews and develop competitive bid packages for subcontractors.
- Manage permitting, licensing, and coordination with local/state agencies.
- Track material orders, oversee delivery logistics, and manage on-site construction execution.
- Maintain accurate project records in tracking systems and provide leadership with regular updates.
- Act as a key liaison for safety, quality assurance, and adherence to company standards.
- Review and approve closeout packages (COPs), ensuring completion accuracy and documentation integrity.
- Monitor construction finances, invoice tracking, PO creation, and change orders to ensure cost control.
- Participate in vendor selection, rate negotiations, and ongoing performance evaluations.
Experience & Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in telecommunications/wireless construction.
- Hands-on experience with small cell deployment and OSP/ISP (aerial and underground) construction.
- Strong knowledge of permitting, pole/conduit licensing, and utility coordination.
- Proven project management experience including schedule, finance, and vendor oversight.
- Familiarity with RF testing (PIM/Sweep), OTDR, and power testing for small cell node builds.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume data environment.
- High school diploma required.
- Valid driver's license.
Key Skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Smartsheet, Power BI, and CRM platforms.
- Knowledge of NESC, NEC, and OSHA standards.
- Ability to read and interpret small cell and OSP construction drawings.
- Strong organizational, financial tracking, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Effective communicator with both field crews and executive stakeholders.
