Become part of our team as an on-site Electrical Engineer in Boise, ID who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our clients business. Join us and youll have the chance to work on projects including advanced semiconductor manufacturing and other state of the art manufacturing facilities. Our engineers are responsible for delivery of complex construction packages including tool installation design.
Youll be accountable for schedule and technical quality of assigned routine engineering tasks. As you gain familiarity with the clients expectations, scope, budget and schedule for assigned tasks, youll effectively recognize and communicate scope and design changes promptly. Youll coordinate work activities with other staff members and the discipline lead. You may have supervision of less experienced engineering and design staff. Your multi-discipline, highly interactive team may produce single-line diagrams depicting electrical power systems 208Y/120V through 480V, installation details, electric room layouts, tool installation connection diagrams, cable tray layouts, cable schedules, power plans, lighting plans, breaker coordination studies, and Arc Flash / Short-Circuit Current studies. You will support senior engineers in selection and specification of electrical equipment. You may also be asked to provide on-site assistance during startups.

- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university
- At least 5 years of Electrical Engineering experience related to facility engineering.
- Knowledge and application of the National Electrical Code ( NEC )
- Working knowledge of CAD and/or BIM modeling software
- Strong skill set to digitally markup drawings, utilizing applications, such as Autodesk Design Review and BIM360 for purpose of delegating to a designer
- Experience working in construction environments, including field verifications
- Familiarity of design and construction project delivery, from project initiation
