Actalent is looking for a Remote Civil Drafter/Designer! Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development of site plans for land development projects.
  • Prepare detailed site plans, grading, utility layouts, and erosion control drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Collaborate with civil engineers and project managers to develop construction documents.
  • Interpret survey data, zoning codes, and municipal standards to ensure designs are accurate and compliant.
  • Revise and update plans based on redlines, client feedback, and permitting agency requirements.
  • Maintain organized drawing files and support project documentation throughout the design process.
Required Skills
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D with over 3 years of experience.
  • Experience in designing site plans in accordance with zoning laws and survey measurements.
  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in Civil CAD or Civil Engineering.

Plus:

  • Specific experience with subdivisions and housing complexes is a plus.
  • P.E certification or tracking to obtain P.E certification is a plus
Work Environment

This position offers a 100% remote work environment, allowing for an independent schedule and direct communication with the owner who is a P.E & P.S. The role is computer-focused with some client communication, providing significant input in design decisions and interaction with higher-level leadership.

Job Type:

  • This is a contract to hire position where Actalent Services will employ this person for the initial 12 months prior to this person transitioning as a direct employee. This person will receive full benefits, PTO, holiday pay and access to 401k while working as an Actalent employee.
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
