Long time family owned heavy civil construction company seeking several skilled and dedicated Universal Equipment Operators to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience operating various heavy machinery on construction sites. As an operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of equipment operation tasks, contributing to the successful completion of our projects.

Responsibilities:
Operate heavy construction equipment, including excavators, backhoes, scrapers and loaders, to prepare construction sites for building.

Perform precise excavation and grading of soil and other materials to meet project specifications.

Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.

Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to coordinate tasks and ensure project timelines are met.

Follow all safety protocols and regulations while working on construction sites.

Skills:
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.

Experience in operating heavy machinery such as excavators, graders, scrapers, backhoes, loaders, and water trucks.

Familiarity with operating and safety regulations and practices.

Ability to read blueprints and understand construction plans.

Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.

Attention to detail to ensure quality work in grading tasks.
