Pay for this opportunity is $27-33+hour (based on skills test result).
All shifts available! For the right candidates, t will be opportunity to be hired on by our client and your career will set sail!
Job responsibilities include:
Weldponents in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
Recognize, set up, and operate hand and power toolsmon to the welding trade, such as shielded metal arc and gas metal arc welding equipment.
Select and install torches, torch tips, filler rods, and flux, according to welding chart specifications or types and thicknesses of metals.
Lay out, position, align, and secure parts prior to assembly, using straightedges,bination squares, calipers, and rulers.
Examine work pieces for defects and measure work pieces with straightedges or templates to ensure conformance with specifications.
Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments, using flux-cored arc.
Successful candidates will have:
High school degree or equivalent.
2+ years of experience in a custom build shop preferred.
Ability to read and understand blues along with 3D sschematic
Physically able to lift 50 pounds - inclusive of walkingclimbing stairs
Comfortable working in smallerenclosed spaces within the ship
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) andor Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.

Pay Details: $27.00 to $33.00 per hour
