- Conduct structural analysis for foundations of substations.
- Perform analysis and design for MAT foundations, pier foundations, and drilled shaft foundations.
- Coordinate design documents effectively.
- Collaborate with substation and related equipment teams.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in structural analysis for substation or transmission line projects.
- Strong understanding of foundation design for MAT, PIER, and drilled shaft.
- Proficiency in RISA software.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.
- Experience with RISA 3D, RAM, AutoCAD, and structural design software.
- PE certification or nearing completion.
- Exposure in industrial projects such as pipe racking, oil and gas, or other industrial fields.
The position is based at the Spring Valley office in NY, with a hybrid schedule of 2-3 days per week in the office (Tuesday to Thursday) and remote work on Mondays and Fridays. You will have your own cubicle space and work closely with a team of two drafters and supplemental staff. The role offers flexibility in working arrangements, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
