Responsibilities An Project Manager in our flooring group will be responsible managing the project until completion with support staff from seasoned superintendents and project engineers. A background with flooring is preferred, but not required. Project Manager Responsibilities Submission of all required samples, product data, and shop drawings for approval by the architect. Review shop drawings and relay pertinent information to the field team. Procurement of all project required materials. Manage, price and track all change orders, plan revisions and RFI's. Manage project costs and forecast/analyze construction costs, exposures, and profits. Submission of record drawings, maintenance manuals & warranties to ensure a smooth and successful closeout. Attend progress meetings throughout projects, as required. Computer Equipment and Software Requirements Required - Bluebeam (or similar) PDF viewer/takeoff software Microsoft Applications (Windows, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) Education and Experience Requirements Education: A.S. or B.S. in Construction or equivalent field experience Experience: Minimum of 2 - 5 years commercial construction experience Skills and Knowledge Demonstrates excellent written and oral communications and team skills. Must be dependable, consistent, diligent, and thorough. Creative and resourceful in completing tasks accurately in a compressed timeframe. Demonstrates professionalism and pride of ownership in assigned responsibilities.
