1st shift CNC Machine Operator $18-25/hr Job Description We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Machine Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce precision parts according to specifications. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills to produce high-quality components. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions. Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality and efficiency. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines. Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with company policies and safety standards. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines. Essential Skills Proficiency in machine operation and machining processes. Experience with CNC lathes and mills. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints. Familiarity with quality control standards and inspection techniques. Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and materials. Additional Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent 2+ years of experience operating CNC machines in a manufacturing environment. Experience with multi-spindle screw machines. Work Environment The role is based in a machine shop, operating Monday through Friday from 7am to 3pm. Expect a noisy environment where you may get dirty from oils and machine operations. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, Nebraska. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
