Our painters are primarily responsible for the preparation of surfaces and application of finishes to product. Duties include washing and sanding product; matching color and 'moving' colors to get accurate paint finish; applying finish using high volume, low pressure spray equipment.

Preferred candidates will have the following skills:

- Ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings, written procedures and verbal instructions

- Experience with compressed air paint sprayers and paint mixing methods and ability to apply an even finish to product.

- Proficiency in math, ratios and fractions. Familiarity with metric system.

- Ability to use tape measure and scale rule with accuracy.

- High school graduate or equivalent

- Concentration of study in mechanical arts classes

- Automotive body and refinishing skills helpful.
