Fabricator

Randstad is seeking a detail-oriented Wood Fabricator / Furniture Assembler to join our team. This role involves hands-on work with wood materials to build, assemble, and finish high-quality furniture and custom wood products. Candidates must have at least one year of experience and a solid understanding of woodworking techniques, hand-tool skills, and a passion for craftsmanship.

The ideal candidate can read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, or assembly instructions accurately. This includes understanding measurements, materials, and assembly sequences as indicated in the drawings.

Responsibilities

• Precision wood working
  
  
• Furniture construction and joinery
  
  
• Cabinetmaking
  
  
• Wood finishing (sanding, staining, painting, varnishing)
  
  
• Reading and interpreting blueprints or shop drawings
  
  
• Measuring and marking materials with high accuracy
  
  
• Assembly of complex furniture components
  
  
• Repair and restoration of wooden furniture
  
  
• Use of tools safely and effectively
  
  

The essential functions of this role include:

working in a smoke free environment

manual lifting up to 50lbs

working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week

Skills

Fabrication (1 year of experience is preferred)

wood working (1 year of experience is preferred)

assembler (1 year of experience is preferred)

Furniture construction (1 year of experience is preferred)

Blueprints (1 year of experience is preferred)

Carpentry (1 year of experience is preferred)
