Position Summary:We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Electrician to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting plant-wide maintenance operations, particularly within a structural steel manufacturing environment. This role involves the electrical installation, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical presses, steel slitters, overhead cranes, and automation systems.
Key Responsibilities:-
Install and maintain 480V, 3-phase power systems for new and existing equipment.

Troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade electrical systems on machinery including relay logic and PLC-based controls.

Work with AC/DC motors and drives to ensure proper operation and efficiency.

Assist in plant-wide maintenance activities including automation, mechanical systems, and overhead crane operations.

Integrate new safety systems, automation enhancements, and error-proofing features into existing machine controls.

Interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documents to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.

Collaborate with mechanical maintenance staff to support overall equipment reliability.

Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance with a strong electrical focus.

Proficient in reading electrical schematics and using diagnostic tools.

Experience with motor controls, VFDs, sensors, and PLCs (Allen-Bradley or similar).

Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team.

Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.

Must be safety-conscious and familiar with industrial safety standards.

Background in structural steel or heavy industrial manufacturing.

Experience with overhead crane electrical systems.

Familiarity with robotic automation or advanced material handling systems.

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Comfortable working in an industrial plant environment with varying conditions.
