Maintenance Mechanic

The Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing issues, repairing, troubleshooting and providing the required maintenance to equipment in a timely manner, minimizing operational downtime.

• Performs preventative and general maintenance. General building maintenance. Troubleshoot and diagnosis any issues with equipment and machinery
• Repairs associated with printing presses and all other associated machinery
• Ability to fabricate, upgrade, install and sustain all equipment/machinery
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control problems using equipment manuals, drawings, and schematics while following proper safety protocols
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical issues including control circuits, motors, and PLC-controlled equipment is a plus
• Working knowledge of UV printing, Heatset printing and envelope converters is a plus
• Basic math and computer skills
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills are required

In depth knowledge/experience with electricity/electronics, ability to identify mechanical issues and implement corrective action to return equipment to full processing capacity.

High school diploma/GED and at least 5 years of mechanical experience and/or training.
