- Provide engineering support and consultation, including design, plans, inspections, system planning, specifications, reports, maps, environmental impacts, schedules, surveying, easements, data collection, construction observation, and field investigation.
- Understand, follow, and create new department standards and procedures. Become familiar with plans, specifications, maps, and related materials for each project and utilize the information appropriately.
- Support and administer the maintenance of configured infrastructure to meet current utility needs, including implementing levels, specialized components, and custom reports.
- Meet with third-party supporting firms and general contractor representatives to provide standards and collect feedback regularly to ensure up-to-date understanding and compliance.
- Read and interpret utility industry standards, drawings, and device specification/data sheets and apply them to a working environment.
- Associate Degree in Technical or Engineering.
- Proficiency in CAD software.
