2nd Shift Serger Operator

Hiring/Retention Bonus up to $1,000 within the first year! ** Bonus details provided during interview Stark Carpet/Prestige Mills in Calhoun is looking for reliable warehouse employees to work 2nd Shift 3:00pm-11:30pm Responsible for serging carpets and moving carpets to the next phase of production. Job duties may include :

• Responsible for serging all sizes and colors on rugs.
• Maintain a clean table/work area.
• Able to retrieve work supplies and match material colors to carpet.
• Knowledge of materials required for sewing operations.
• Requires repetitive motion, pulling, bending and lifting.
• Must have basic knowledge of carpet manufacturing.
• Must be able to read/understand work orders.

Required Physical Abilities Work is performed while standing, sitting and/or walking. This position requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision and hearing. Requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations. This position may often require bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, reaching. Incumbent will regularly be around moving machinery as well as marked changes in temperature and humidity.
