Position Summary:
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all aspects of facilities and grounds maintenance at our 300-site RV resort. This hands-on leadership role ensures the safe, clean, and efficient operation of the resort’s infrastructure, buildings, amenities, and grounds. The Maintenance Supervisor manages a team of technicians and coordinates daily maintenance operations while maintaining high standards of guest satisfaction and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Supervision:
- Lead, train, schedule, and supervise a team of maintenance and grounds staff.
- Prioritize and assign work orders, ensuring timely and quality completion.
- Maintain strong communication with resort management and staff.
- Facility & Equipment Maintenance:
- Perform and oversee repairs and preventive maintenance of resort facilities, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, water and sewer systems, and general carpentry.
- Ensure all resort equipment and tools are maintained in safe and operational condition.
- Groundskeeping:
- Supervise landscaping, lawn care, irrigation, and outdoor cleanliness.
- Ensure roadways, RV pads, and common areas are clean, well-maintained, and safe.
- Safety & Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local safety and environmental regulations.
- Maintain records of inspections, permits, and maintenance logs.
- Respond to emergency situations, including power outages, water/sewer issues, or storm damage.
- Inventory & Budgeting:
- Monitor and manage maintenance supply inventory.
- Assist with budget planning and cost control for maintenance operations.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school training preferred.
- Minimum 3–5 years of maintenance experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Knowledge of RV park utilities and infrastructure (preferred but not required).
- Strong working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general maintenance practices.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., work outdoors in various weather, and be on-call as needed.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Basic computer skills (email, work order tracking software).
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with water/sewer systems (well, septic, lift stations).
- Customer service orientation in a hospitality or campground setting.
