Civil Project Manager
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Project Manager to join our team. This role is ideal for a professional ready to step into a leadership position, overseeing a team of junior engineers and designers throughout the full project lifecycle. This opportunity arises due to a recent promotion within our team, and the successful candidate will be pivotal in managing projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality and adherence to budget and schedule.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of junior engineers and designers through the full project lifecycle.
- Oversee and manage projects from start to finish, conducting quality assurance and quality control on designs.
- Manage project budgets and schedules effectively.
- Review work performed by designers and project engineers.
- Develop and apply engineering principles and standards in civil design, including site layout, grading, erosion control, and roadway.
Essential Skills
- Experience in civil engineering and project management.
- Proficiency in Civil 3D and civil design.
- Ability to manage budgets and schedules.
- Experience in land and site development.
- Professional engineering certification.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in writing civil engineering reports.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and standards.
Work Environment
The role is based in an office environment, working with a civil engineering team of four. After a probationary period of six months to a year, there is potential for a hybrid working arrangement, allowing for two or possibly three days remote work per week. The team currently manages a backlog of 1.5 million in projects, with opportunities for growth in collaboration with DEN as the team expands.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $48.07 - $57.69/hr.
