Job Summary

The Project Coordinator will assist Program Managers with research and development of projects, within a corporate program. This opportunity requires strong attention to detail, organizational knowledge, and deep understanding of operational environments.

Job Description

What will you do?

  • Create and issue timely portfolio and program level reporting, including providing assistance to Program Leadership team in preparing project/program presentations, status updates, meeting agendas & minutes, communications and ad hoc reporting as required
  • Develop and maintain program level schedules, and manage program risks with support from scrum masters and leadership within the program
  • Manage and maintain a Program-Level document repository containing a collection of reporting from program squads, quality engineering, and architecture including approvals, change control, and close out.
  • Manage Cost/Financial Management control processes, monthly schedule updates and cost analysis for program
  • Assist in the development and analysis of financial forecast reporting (e.g. identify tracking variances, integrate risks / issues with financial forecasting)
  • Assist with management and execution for Program Quarterly Planning sessions, working with Program Leads to create consolidated delivery program plans for each product increment
  • Assist with development and continuous improvement of the program controls and processes
  • Responsible for all delegated deliverables within the program as determined by the Portfolio Lead and the Program Director/Managers

What do you need to succeed? Must have:

  • Degree or diploma in Business Administration or relevant field
  • 2+ years of relevant experience as a Project Coordinator supporting Program Managers, with experience maintaining program level schedules, control processes, monthly schedule updates and cost analysis for programs
  • 2+ years experience, and displays a high level of proficiency using Excel and PowerPoint to analyze and present complex data in easily understandable and actionable formats
  • Knowledge related to program & project cost management, assumptions and risk based planning, risk assessment, schedule management, status reporting, general administration, and program/project management frameworks
  • An analytical and methodical mind-set with strong attention to detail is required; problem-solving ability & a high degree of comfort with navigating and resolving ambiguous issues
  • Proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and to perform effectively in a team-oriented environment, under pressure and with time sensitive deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication

Nice to have:

  • Proficiency with JIRA and Confluence
