Duties

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings.
Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete tasks efficiently.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine layout and installation procedures.
Troubleshoot electrical issues using voltmeters and other diagnostic equipment.
Work with high voltage and low voltage systems as required.
Ensure compliance with NEC regulations and safety standards on all job sites.
Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure timely project completion.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications

Valid Journeyman/Journeywoman Electrician license or equivalent certification.
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a commercial electrician.
Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics.
Familiarity with logic controllers and their applications in electrical systems is preferred.
Strong knowledge of NEC regulations and safety practices related to high voltage systems.
Ability to use hand tools, power tools, voltmeters, and other necessary equipment effectively.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
