Mechanical Engineer

Our client is a local firm looking to add a Mechanical Engineer to their exceptional, family-like team! They work with some of the best clients in the Syracuse-Auburn area.

Requirement:

• 7-10 years of experience as a mechanical engineer
• HVAC design experience REQUIRED!
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience in commercial, healthcare, light industrial, municipal, education, or recreation
• PE license in NY is REQUIRED
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Visual and MS Office software

Job Description/Responsibilities:

• Designing complete components of building mechanical HVAC designs
• Complete construction drawings, calculations, and specifications
• Review contractor submittals and provide clarifications during construction
• Meet with clients
• Manage projects
• Communicate and coordinate with architects, owners, other engineering disciplines, and other consultants throughout the design phases of the building project
