Drafter

Responsibilities

• Drafting — One of the primary job duties will focus on 2D drafting with AutoCAD Electrical. Drawings for a variety of projects on varies industries. These drawings will include electrical layouts, plans, schematics, diagrams, panel schedules, cable schedules, material lists, and more. Some non-electrical drawings will be created.
• Redlines/As-Builts — Another primary job duty will be to create and maintain Redlines for industrial electrical projects and produce As-Builts for project completion. Some projects would involve field work to collect or verify redlines.

Qualifications:

• Accredited associate degree in drafting technology or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Electrical background or interest.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD. Preferred proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical toolset
• Proficiency in Windows OS and Microsoft Office Suite
• Willingness to learn specific styles, standards, and procedures of company and adapt and learn new things that may be tasked. Willingness to work with others and learn from others.
• Ability to communicate orally and in writing. Ability to stay organized
