Painter Job Description We are seeking skilled painters to perform interior work in a commercial setting. The role involves using brushes and rollers, executing cutting and trim work, as well as patching and prepping drywall. Responsibilities Perform interior painting tasks in commercial environments. Utilize brushes and rollers to apply paint efficiently. Conduct precise cutting and trim work. Patch and prepare drywall for painting. Ensure consistent quality and adherence to project timelines. Essential Skills Prior experience painting in commercial or residential settings. Proficiency with brush and roller techniques, including cutting and trim work. Consistent work history in construction-related fields. Additional Skills & Qualifications 2-3 years of experience in commercial painting. Demonstrated proficiency in cutting and trim techniques. Work Environment This role involves commercial construction work, including new builds and renovations. The schedule is 7am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday. Work will be conducted in office buildings and various colleges around Rochester. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rochester, New York. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
