Flux-Core Welder Job Description We are seeking skilled Flux-core welders to join our team in fabricating heavy-duty equipment from start to finish. This role involves welding mild steel ranging from 1/4" to 3" thick, primarily for the production of excavators used in construction settings. This position requires the ability to weld industrial buckets, similar to those used on backhoes, through multiple passes, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship throughout the entire process. Responsibilities Fabricate heavy-duty equipment such as industrial buckets from start to finish. Perform welding on mild steel ranging from 1/4" to 3" thick using Flux-Core welding techniques. Execute multiple passes on welds to ensure durability and quality. Read and interpret blueprints to guide fabrication and welding processes. Consistently lift and maneuver materials weighing up to 50lbs. Essential Skills 2+ years of experience in heavy gauge Flux-Core welding. Proficiency in using .030 & .045 wire.
