**Job Description**

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team in fabricating structural beams and joints for construction projects. You will be responsible for MIG welding steel beams ranging from 1/4" to 3" thick, utilizing prints and weld symbols. This position involves shop work with large beams, requiring the use of an overhead crane.

**Responsibilities**

+ MIG weld steel beams ranging from 1/4" to 3" thick.

+ Utilize prints and weld symbols for accurate fabrication.

+ Operate an overhead crane to maneuver large beams safely.

**Essential Skills**

+ 2+ years of MIG welding experience.

+ Proficiency in reading blueprints and weld symbols.

+ Ability to perform structural welding and fabrication.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ Experience in welding within the construction industry.

+ Experience working with large beams or bins for agriculture.

**Work Environment**

This position is a first shift role, generally working Monday through Thursday from 6am to 4pm, with potential for additional hours on Fridays during the summer. The fabrication shop focuses on large and thick beams for the construction industry, emphasizing safety while using overhead cranes.

**Job Type & Location**

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $27.50/hr.
