Job Title: Construction Project Coordinator
Job Description
The Construction Project Coordinator acts as a liaison between Project Managers, Clients, and Subcontractors. This role involves answering general questions and directing customers to the appropriate Project Managers and departments. You will be responsible for organizing, preparing, submitting, and tracking subcontracts, supply agreements, and subcontractor/supplier change orders. Additionally, you will assist with RFP/RFQ preparation and complete project set-up and ongoing maintenance/updates in Viewpoint and AutoDesk. Creating project files and organizing job-specific documents is key to this role, along with preparing AIA draw requests and invoices. You will also obtain subcontractor certifications and compliance reports for apprenticeship, M/W/ESB, and Section 3 programs.
Responsibilities
- Act as a liaison between Project Managers, Clients, and Subcontractors.
- Answer general questions and refer customers to Project Managers and various departments.
- Organize, prepare, submit, and track subcontracts, supply agreements, and change orders.
- Assist with RFP/RFQ preparation.
- Complete project set-up and ongoing project maintenance/updates in Viewpoint and AutoDesk.
- Create project files and organize and control job-specific documents.
- Prepare AIA draw requests and invoices.
- Obtain subcontractor certifications and compliance reports regarding apprenticeship, M/W/ESB, and Section 3 programs.
Essential Skills
- 2+ years of experience with a General Contractor.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Viewpoint, and Autodesk software.
- Skills in construction project coordination, document control, and change orders.
- Experience with RFI/Change Order/Subcontracts/Prime Contracts.
- Understanding of construction administration.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with commercial construction.
- General Contractor experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Work Environment
This is a full-time, in-office position located in SW Portland, with work hours from either 7 AM to 4 PM or 8 AM to 5 PM, including an hour for lunch. You will be supporting up to 5 Project Managers at one time. The role requires someone who presents themselves professionally and can work collaboratively in a positive environment. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $34.00/hr.
