Vicarious Surgical is hiring an Electrical Engineer II to join our team in Waltham, MA. As an Electrical Engineer II, you will play a critical role in supporting our engineering team by tackling technical challenges and contributing to the successful execution of our projects. This role will emphasize a balanced approach across various aspects of electrical engineering, The ideal candidate will have experience with documentation, test planning, test execution, test fixtures and hands on abilities.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation for electrical designs, test plans, and procedures.
- Ensure all technical documentation is accurate, comprehensive, and up-to-date.
- Collaborate with the team to design and plan tests for electrical systems and components.
- Define test objectives, methodologies, and success criteria to ensure thorough evaluation.
- Execute electrical tests according to established plans and procedures.
- Analyze test results, identify issues, and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Contribute to the design and development of test fixtures as needed.
- Ensure test fixtures are effective and reliable for accurate testing.
- Perform hands-on tasks including soldering, rework, and assembly of electrical components as required.
- Support prototype assembly and modifications to meet design specifications.
About You
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on documentation, test planning, and execution.
- Proficiency in electrical test equipment and techniques.
- Experience with soldering, rework, and assembly.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience with designing and developing test fixtures.
- Desirable familiarity with surgical robotics, medical device technology, or related fields.
