Job Description
Academic Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED required; vocational/technical certification or Associates degree preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of Technical Maintenance work experience required. MS Office experience required; AutoCAD
- experience preferred.
- Knowledge of Spark Plug and Sensor operations preferred
- Previous supervisory experience required.

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to withstand long periods of sitting/standing/squatting/working in tight space and repetitive motion
- Safety toe shoes required
Essential Duties:
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures which include IATF, ISO, TISAX, ISMS, and Safety related policies.
- Function as member First Responder per the WVSM Manual.
- Ensure process achievements and promote customer focus throughout the organization.
- Provide effective leadership to associates to ensure all work is performed in accordance with workmanship conforming to equipment maintenance, quality, environmental and regulatory procedures and guidelines;
- Schedule/assign work orders, perform appropriate level of maintenance on machinery/fabrication and verify and document results with use of TM's CMMS;
- Lead machine installations and upgrades and allocate appropriate resources;
- Maintain proper machine performance, schedule/assign preventive maintenance and provide campus wide machinery support on a daily basis;
- Provide departmental/interdepartmental training/communication as required;
- Effective management of labor costs and productivity;
- Prompt, accurate communication to appropriate personnel as required;
- Collection, verification, and reporting of downtime/OEE data; analyze data to help improve OEE.
- Plan and coordinate operations of all shifts;
- Oversee quality/level of spare parts (and products) to minimize equipment interruption, defects, overall costs;
- Kaizen activities;
- Operate man lift per procedures and guidelines;
- Interface effectively with other departments and suppliers;
Other Duties:
- Prompt reporting of any abnormalities relating to equipment or repair parts to management;
- Travel and/or overtime as required;
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
