Position Title: Electrician
Position Reports to: Assistant Director of Facilities
Employee Category: Full-Time, Year-Round, Benefit Eligible - Includes Uniform & Meals
Schedule: 7AM-3PM, 5 days per week
FLSA Category: Non-exempt, hourly rate range +/- $40.00 /hr.
The Country Club is seeking an experienced electrician for the maintenance, repair, and improvement of various Club facility equipment under the direction of the Assistant Director of Facilities. The Electrician will be an essential member of the Facilities Team, which maintains approximately 225,000 ft2 within a campus setting of 8+ buildings.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and implement repairs to building electrical systems, including electrical systems associated with ventilation equipment, HVAC systems, and miscellaneous mechanical related items.
- Perform daily Electrical maintenance requirements include planning and scheduling updates and repairs.
- Diagnose, and resolve matters related to electrical systems including those related to mechanical equipment and mechanical system controls.
- Perform maintenance, troubleshooting and routine upkeep of building equipment.
- Assist with maintaining energy management system for the property's HVAC systems.
- Prioritize tasks to provide the highest level of quality for cost effective maintenance and repair and upkeep of Club facilities.
- Assist Facilities Team in developing short- and long-term requirements for repair and maintenance, capital replacement.
- Complete other appropriate tasks as assigned by the Assistant Director of Facilities
Required Skills:
- Electrical Journeyman License required.
- Must be detail-oriented and work effectively in an operating business environment.
- Must be able to work independently and productively with minimal supervision.
- Ability to prioritize, organize and follow through on daily assignments and responsibilities.
- Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and ability to work well with all staff, vendors, and contractors.
- Ability to stay calm and perform required tasks during emergency situations
- Valid Massachusetts Driver's License.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work, stand, and walk on your feet for an 8-hour period
- Ability to regularly lift, push, and/or pull 50-lbs
- Ability to climb ladders regularly and to heights of 30 feet, work on roofs with proper safety equipment, operate a 45-foot boom lift after proper training.
- Ability to climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch, twist, reach and perform repetitive motions for up to 8 hours.
- Ability to work outside during all types of temperatures and weather conditions.
