Job Skills / Requirements

LACOSTA is looking for an experienced forklift driver, warehouse team member for our site in Corinth, MS.

Night Shift: 6pm-6am or 7am-7pm

Rotating Schedule (Tues/Wed/Sat/Sun then Mon/Thurs/Fri)

Pay Rate: $16.00/hr. Paid weekly!

Requirements:

  • Ensures orderly production and distribution of products by pulling orders from inventory, delivering production materials and supplies where needed, and staging finished products for final distribution.
  • Contributes to orderly operation of stock/materials storage area.
  • Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock, recording location of inventory, and reporting shortages.
  • Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying and supplies listed on production orders.
  • Locates and packs materials for shipping.
  • Prepares finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, loading, and securing product.
  • Documents product shipment by recording units shipped.
  • Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections.
  • Operates forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move products.
  • Keeps inventory, loading areas, and machinery clean.
  • Learns and adheres to workplace safety regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of two years of previous forklift operation
  • Proven experience as a Material Handler, Warehouse Associate or similar position
  • Organizational Skills
  • Ability to read and analyze information
  • Adept to handling multiple complex tasks simultaneously
  • Proficiency with prioritizing and meeting multiple deadlines
  • Excellent time management
  • Ability to lift heavy materials
  • Computer experience is preferred
  • Familiarity with voice picking systems or RF devices is a plus

Essential Functions:

  • Ability to wear required PPE (Ear plugs, Hi-Vis Safety Vest, Safety glasses, and steel toe safety shoes) for entire 12-hour shift.
  • Must be able to constantly switch from standing/sitting.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
