Job Posting: Assistant Project Manager

Key Responsibilities:
- Project Support: Assist the Project Manager in the planning, execution, and finalization of HVAC and mechanical projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of project progress, including daily reports, change orders, and meeting minutes. Assist in preparing project status reports for clients and internal stakeholders.
- Scheduling and Coordination: Help manage project schedules, coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely completion of project tasks.
- Cost Management: Assist in monitoring project budgets, reviewing cost estimates, and managing cost controls to ensure that the project remains within budget.
- Quality Control: Support the Project Manager in ensuring that all work meets quality standards and complies with project specifications, codes, and safety regulations.
- Client Communication: Act as a liaison between clients, project managers, and other stakeholders, providing updates and addressing concerns as necessary.
- Risk Management: Assist in identifying potential project risks and developing mitigation strategies to address them.
- Procurement: Assist in the procurement of materials and equipment necessary for project execution, ensuring that they are delivered on time and meet project requirements.
- Site Visits: Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure that all work is being carried out in accordance with project plans and specifications.

Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience may be considered.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in HVAC, mechanical, or construction project management. Previous experience in an assistant project management role is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with HVAC and mechanical systems, construction practices, and project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore, Bluebeam).
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational abilities with attention to detail.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues, develop solutions, and implement them effectively.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to visit construction sites, which may require standing, walking, climbing ladders, and lifting objects up to 50 lbs.
