Experience with construction project management in Data Center environment. Experience overseeing General Contractor & external vendors. Practical construction knowledge with a proven ability to coordinate field activities. Proficiency in project documentation, quality assurance, and construction reporting. Strong skills in cost tracking, scheduling, and problem-solving. Job Description: TEKsystems is seeking a skilled Construction Manager with a minimum of three (3) years of experience in underground telecommunications and/or utility infrastructure construction to join our team as an Owner's Representative on a large-scale infrastructure project. In this critical role, the Construction Manager will serve as the key liaison between the project owner and contractors, ensuring that work is executed to the highest standards of quality, cost-efficiency, and schedule adherence. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in construction management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to proactively manage field-level project activities. Key Responsibilities: Act as the Owner's Representative on-site, overseeing day-to-day construction operations. Ensure contractor performance aligns with project plans, specifications, and industry standards. Monitor and document construction progress, including quality control, cost tracking, and scheduling. Identify and address potential issues that may impact cost, quality, or schedule. Prepare and deliver clear and accurate reports and updates to project stakeholders. Review and verify contractor submittals, RFIs, change orders, and pay applications. Coordinate with engineering teams, local agencies, and utility partners as needed. Maintain consistent and professional communication with all project participants.
