Cabinet Installer**
**Job Description**
Join our Service team to work on installations and service existing cabinetry products in the field. This role requires significant knowledge and experience with cabinetry.
**Responsibilities**
+ Prepare layout using rules, squares, patterns, and other measuring instruments.
+ Demonstrate expertise in installation, hinges, overlays, drawers, doors, and interpreting blueprints/designs.
+ Assemble cut and shaped materials, fastening them together using nails, dowels, screws, or glue, following drawing details.
+ Inspect each assembled product to ensure it meets quality standards.
+ Conduct service calls that may involve adjusting a drawer box, installing a new door, or replacing broken parts.
+ Utilize knowledge of cabinetry and cabinet making to troubleshoot issues in the field.
**Essential Skills**
+ Expertise in cabinetry and cabinet making.
+ Experience in installation and finish carpentry.
+ Proficiency in construction, installation, and hardware.
+ Ability to use measuring tools and interpret blueprints.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in cabinet making is essential.
+ Ability to coordinate the movements of eyes, hands, and fingers.
+ Physical ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, and lift objects weighing up to 30 pounds, occasionally more.
+ Proficiency in using arms and hands to reach for, handle, and manipulate objects.
+ Strong math skills and ability to read/interpret shop drawings and blueprints.
+ Capability to follow specific directions and stand or walk for long periods.
+ Competence in adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing whole numbers, percentages, and fractions.
+ Skill in reading and understanding measuring tools and levels.
+ Ability to compare and see differences in the size, shape, and form of lines, figures, and objects.
