Utility Craftsman - Level 1

Job Description:

Provide maintenance and repair services for all district facilities. Assist Maintenance Supervisor to maintain the physical school plant in a condition of operating excellence so that it may be fully used at all times.

Duty Days: 226

Start Date: July, 2025

Salary Range:

Minimum: $16.30/hour

Salary Commensurate with Related Experience

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or Equivalent;

Valid Texas Driver's License;

Knowledge of equipment, materials, methods, practices, plumbing, painting and light carpentry;

General knowledge of other crafts use din building repair and maintenance;

Self motivated, productive, hard-worker and strives to continually improve knowledge and skill set in building repair and maintenance;

Ability to work independently;

Effective planning, organizational and communication skills
